How to merge clips in Adobe Premiere Pro

There is a variety of ways on How to Merge Clips in Adobe Premiere Pro, such as:

-A) Place clips on top of each other and press “E” to merge the clips.
-B) Place the two clips next to each other and select “Wipe” from your toolbar. And then select the option that says “Right”.
-C) Place the two clips next to each other by clicking on them with your mouse cursor; then right-click one clip and press “Group Clips Together”.
-D) Select both video tracks with your mouse cursor (hold down Shift if you want one video track on top of another video track). Then right-click any of the selected video tracks and press “Merge Clips”.

NOTE To keep the clips in the same sequence. You can merge clips with Adobe Premier pro together before or after adding them to a sequence.

A) Select the two video tracks that you want to merge. Then place them over one of your sequences.
B) Merge clips together by selecting “E” on your keyboard. If they are side by side, or selecting “Wipe” from your toolbar and then select “Right” if they overlap.
C) To keep the clips in the same sequence, merge them before you add them to a sequence.
D) This will have both video tracks placed at once. Select both video tracks with your mouse cursor (hold down Shift if you want one video track on top of another video track).
Then right-click any of the selected video tracks and press “Merge Clips”. This will place them together as one video track like you would like them to be. Then you can add them to a sequence.

After you have added your clips to a sequence, right-click one of the clips and choose “Split Out” to choose which portion of the clip that you want in your sequence and copy that portion or select “Split In” to choose which portion of the clip you would like added to your sequence and then copy that portion.

To retrieve the clips that you split out or split in, select one of the clips in your sequence and right-click it. Then choose “Replace”. If you do not want to replace the clip, then choose “Cut”.
